First day back to training kinda tweaked my left bicep on deadlifts at the meet. It felt a bit achy going in but Instuck with my dominant grip. Nothing torn but it's tender did some easy squats today
Squat 305 3x5
Paused squat 255 2x6

Wanted to do back and curls but the arm wouldn't have taken it so called it at that gonna try some bemching tomorrow and see how it feels if it's still achy I'll just take the rest of the week off training and resum again next week

not a training post but I have rested near the entire week which is unheard of for me XD my bicep feels healthy again and I did some curls at work with an oil jug did 20 reps with no pain so I think I'm healed up. low back feels good as well and I did my first chiropractor visit today. it took a few goes at my upper back and afterwards he said it was an "accident waiting to happen" not sure if I should worry about that or not. he seemed into me making it a regular thing so I have another adjustment scheduled in 2 weeks.
prep for the Nevada Powerlifting State Champs starts Monday(wanted it to be this monday but this damn dumb arm)
I have a solid plan I put together and am eager to get after it to put together a better raw total goals for the meet are:
squat 430+
bench 280+
deadlift 560+

should be about a 70lb increase or more on my 1201 total

Low cable row 160 4x12
Curls 4x12
Tricep pushdown 3x12

Bicep hurt like fuck during the bench was fine before and even did some curls to warm up then during bench I was dying. Overhead was fine low row was fine just benching hurt. Mostly during the bottom few inches. Gonna play with some lighter weights with a wider grip the wider grip seemed to be pain free on my final set.

No bicep pain widened my grip a few fingers and went with a lighter weight more reps I'll try more weight next week and see what happens

3/13
Squat 2x10 270
SLDL beltless from 2" 1x10 230
Barbell rows 2x10 175
Dumbbell row 1x12 75's

Felt hard but no sleeves or belt on squat sets so making it a little harder than necessary maybe
SLDL done Ed Coan style letting the weight drift out and pulling it close as I lift
